I'm using these next couple of days to collect my thoughts on the last three weeks.
The number of places, cities, roads, sights, sounds, and experiences we've had on this tour are immeasurable, and to be honest, I think I'll only be able to truly digest these experiences days, weeks, months, years later.
I will begin at Day 1.
Leaving NYC.
Suren and I arrived at JFK two hours prior to our flight. We had two beers, and boarded the flight, which took off at 11:30pm.
I closed my eyes for about 30 minutes, and then remained awake the for the 8 hour trip. This would set the pattern for sleep for the rest of the 3 weeks, in other words, minimal, if any.
We arrived in Frankfurt, and Sergey picked us up. The first day was more or less relaxed, as he had a concert in Baden-Baden the following day.
