DAYS 12 - 13 | RICCIONE

By now it's evident that we're constantly restless, and in search of something new. In this fashion we decided to leave Rome one night earlier. We canceled our hotel room at around 10pm, and decided to head towards a small city called Riccione on the eastern coast of Italy.

Sure, Riccione is a small beautiful beach town with the Adriatic Sea sweeping across it's beaches, but what's most impressive about this town is the night club. It has one of the largest clubs in Italy called Cocorico.

So on the 12th day, having left Rome so late, it took us quite a bit of time to get to the east cost. This wasn't a problem though, because at 3:30AM we arrived at Cocorico, and it seemed as if the night was just starting.

The club was HUGE, with a giant pyramid on top, and packed to capacity. I snapped a quick shot inside, waiting till the massive lights came on.

We danced till around the sunrise, and on our way I out I snapped this quick shot of the headlining DJ's on our night there.

After the club, we did the second best thing anyone does in Riccione, headed to the beach. Below is what we saw as we arrived.

That day we not only saw the sun rise, but we also saw the sun set at that beach. It was a much needed rest day.

That night we went out again, to the local clubs on the beach, but they weren't as impressive as Cocorico.

At 6am we arrived to our hotel room (booked only a few hours before) and managed to squeeze in a few hours of rest before checking out the following morning to head to Venice.
