the tornado that hit new york city | SEPTEMBER 2010

It lasted no more than a few minutes, but left a path of destruction that will leave a mark on the Northern Queens neighborhoods for months to come. Power lines were down, water and gas were shut off, and cars were completely demolished under the path of fury of the storm mid-afternoon yesterday.

It's always brutal the morning after.
