Some memories from vegas.

Vegas was an interesting place to say the least, and I would be politically correct by phrasing it that way, but the bottom line is as follows, it's a dumb place.

Everything is on a massive scale, the newest resort currently in construction cost $1 billion to design and build. What I can't seem to understand is if you're going to spend that sum of money to create something, why must it lack style, class and thought?! Which is what everything in Vegas seemed like, tasteless, and lacking in class.

Then there's the resort floor plan (in reference to the mirage where we stayed) you can't get to the elevators without doing a tour of the casino downstairs... yes, its obvious we all get what they are doing, but its fucking annoying.

Then the gamblers, we would leave the resort 8 or 9 am in the morning and there they would be sitting in front of the slot machines, we would come back around 5pm they would still be there, we would go to the bar come back at 3am and they would still be there. Like f'in zombies.

I think I'm just mad I didn't get to see THE KING, and get obliterated and marry a stranger. I mean I understand the point of Vegas, I really do, I just wouldn't go again. Anyway, the day before our departure, we rented a car and drove to LA... I'll continue it from there next time... here are some images of us in these places..
