time of the season | NOVEMBER 2010

the bedlam group show, ports 1961 event at bloomingdales with christina hendricks from mad men, midnight trip to atlantic city, editorial shoot with the incredible katharine polk, george ortiz, anneliese tieck and laetitia rey, a new computer that took 2 weeks to configure (apple's first shipment included a computer that was declared dead on arrival, migrating data to convert raid configuration for an 8tb setup, setting up the 5tb archive, and installing software).. november seems to have gotten a start..

behind-the-scenes at ports 1961 S/S 2011 | NY FASHION WEEK

Doubts of the collections on-going success were being manufactured by the rumor mills after Tia Cibani the creative director stepped down and her sister Fiona Cibani took the reigns. They were of course short lived after the incredible collection came to life at New York Fashion week. Beautiful pieces that demonstrated not only a unique perspective on classics, but also remained ready-to-wear seemed to be the direction for Ports 1961.

Check out some of the Backstage + Front Row + Runway Looks of the collection, below.
